Summer lecture series presented at church

The Westlake Church of Religious Science will present several guest speakers for the Summer Author Series at the church, 880 Hampshire Road, Ste. V, Westlake Village.

Dr. David J. Walker will speak on "You are enough" at 10 a.m. Sun., June 24. Walker is an actor, author, minister, founder of the Los Angeles Church of Religious Science and former president of Religious Science International.

Mark Robert Waldman is an associate fellow at the Center for Spirituality and Mind, University of Pennsylvania. He will discuss the neuropsychology of beliefs, morality, compassion and spirituality with "The biology and spirituality of belief" at 7 p.m. Wed., July 11.

Philip Goldberg, PhD, will talk on "Living at the heart of paradox" at 10 a.m. Sun., July 22. The same day at 12:30 p.m. he will conduct a workshop on "Road signs for the spiritual path." Course fee is $35.

This workshop is described as a chance to "be empowered to become your own pilot and navigator with insights and travel tips from spiritual counselor Philip Goldberg."
