Club to host July 4 parade

The Westlake Junior Women's Club will host its 37th annual Community Fourth of July Parade at 10 a.m. Wed., July 4.

The parade will assemble at the Los Robles Urgent Care Center parking lot on the corner of Agoura Road and Lakeview Canyon. The parade route extends four blocks to the Berneice Bennett Park on Village Center Road.

When the parade ends at Bennett Park, the club will serve free refreshments and doughnuts.

There will be clowns, patriotic temporary tattoos for children, a DJ and more.

Admission is free, and all ages are welcome, but leave pets at home.

The Westlake Village Junior Women's Club is a nonprofit organization and is part of the General Federation of Women's Clubs, the world's oldest and largest volunteer women's organization. The club donates money to local charities and has been serving the Conejo Valley for more than 36 years.
