Friends sell used books

The Friends of the Thousand Oaks Library will sponsor a used books sale from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Fri., June 13 and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sat., July 14 at the Newbury Park Branch Library, 2331 Borchard Road.

The sale will feature a collage collection of U.S. military history books on World War II, LP records, manga comics, and more than 10,000 books.

Prices are 35 cents for children's books and $1 for hardbacks. Admission and parking are free.

Book donations are accepted throughout the year and used books are on sale daily at both the Grant Brimhall/Thousand Oaks Library and the Newbury Park branch.
