BILL SPARKES/Acorn Newspapers NEW RECRUIT?- Ventura County Firefighter Mark Frailey from Fire Station No. 42 shows Camden Coburn, 4, of Thousand Oaks how to operate a real fire hose. The department responded on June 13 to a small brush fire that was quickly put out near the 23 Freeway and Moorpark Road. When the firefighters arrived, they found Camden spraying the blaze with a garden hose.
