Giles will return to TOHS

Updating an April 26 story in the Thousand Oaks Acorn, Thousand Oaks High aquatics coach Mike Giles will return to coach water polo and swimming at the school next season.

Giles, whose future at TOHS was in doubt due to staff cutbacks within the Conejo Valley Unified School District, will teach at both Redwood Middle School and Thousand Oaks.

He thanked Redwood Principal Lou Lichtl, TOHS Principal Tim Carpenter, TOHS athletic director Jason Klinger and district assistant superintendent Jo-Ann Yoos for their roles in the hiring process.
