Two on the school board were an embarrassment

I recently attended a school event at the Ronald Reagan Library. (Dolores) Didio and her cohort (Dorothy) Beaubien embarrassed our community again.

Didio, president of the Conejo Valley School Board, addressed a group of elementary school children by asking them how they felt about "unprotected sex" in America. This inappropriate question was presented at an event that was intended for children to discuss the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Dolores, as a judge at this event, took it upon herself to pose this question to the children. To add to this, Mrs. Beaubien, also a board member and judge, also embarrassed herself and this community.

Mrs. Ronald Reagan was there paying her respects on the anniversary of her husband's death. As we all anxiously awaited her smile and wave to us through the window, Dorothy decided to show her disrespect by saying "This is silly" right as Mrs. Reagan was walking by.

I was thoroughly disgusted and ashamed at her comment in front of 60 children and adults standing there.

This type of behavior is habitual and needs to be stopped. These women are not fit, and have not been fit for the past few years, to serve as our representatives.

Mrs. Didio's abusive remarks at board meetings are totalitarian against Mr. Dunn, who is the only true representative of the community, and has been nothing short of unconstitutional.

Voters should keep in mind that Didio and Beaubien should be replaced at the next election. That is the best gift we can give our children and their future. Gina Conti Westlake Village
