Finalists named in Teen Video Contest

Twelve films made by local teens have been selected as finalists in the 2007 Conejo Teen Video Festival.

The films will be shown at a free screening at 7 p.m. Sat., June 23 at the Thousand Oaks High School performing arts center, 2323 N. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks.

The award presentation will be at 7 p.m. Wed., June 27 at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, Scherr Forum, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks.

The finalists are as follows:

Music Video: "Perfect Lie," Christopher Recupito, 18

Animation: "The Lost Kid," Timothy Reese, 12, Sycamore Canyon Middle School

"Writers Block," Kevin Horowitz, 17, Calabasas High School

"To Fly," Ethan Kuperberg, 18, Agoura High School

Fiction: "Pasta," Will Spear, 18, Agoura High School

"Goodbye," Aaron Blum, 17, Thousand Oaks High School

"Water Damage," Kellen Moore, 18, Moorpark High School

"All Of The Above," Lia Woodward, 16, Westlake High School

"Walk," Thomas Baxter Reiten, 18, Oaks Christian High School

"Metronome," Brian Felber, 17, Agoura High School

"Can We Be Friends?" Kyle Priebe, 18, Newbury Park High School

"PB & J On White," Garrett Rosenblum, 14, Agoura High School
