Lemonade, tri-tip barbecue on menu at market festival

Gelson's Market will host a 25th anniversary outdoor festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sat., June 23 throughout the shopping center on Townsgate Road in Westlake Village.

Gelson's and other businesses in the center will provide free food sampling, a tri-tip barbecue, homemade lemonade and other beverages, gift certificates and prizes. Shopkeepers will provide samples of their products or services on sidewalk tables. There will be a free drawing for a $250 Gelson's shopping spree and five other $50 sprees.

Activities will include free gift certificates, live bands, outdoor art display, free child fingerprinting by the Masonic lodge, disaster preparedness information from the American Red Cross and a fire engine inspection tour.
