Thousand Oaks

Following a sting operation in Thousand Oaks and other Ventura County communities, detectives arrested a male, 51, and a female, 43, both from Los Angeles, near 7th Street and Town Avenue in L.A. According to a press release, the two were dealing crack cocaine. About 35 grams of crack were allegedly confiscated at the time of the arrests.

On May 22 at 12:21 p.m. in the 800 block of E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., a male, 25, was arrested for indecent exposure.

Unknown vandal(s) smashed a vehicle window in the 1400 block of Warwick Avenue between noon and 1:44 p.m. May 24.

Bombs made of dry ice were found at Weathersfield Elementary School at 8:27 a.m. May 24.

A known suspect, a male, 20, allegedly used force on another person at 12:58 a.m. May 24 in the first block of Rolling Oaks Drive.

Property was stolen in the 1700 block of Calle Diamonte on May 22 or 23.

A home was vandalized by someone with a paint gun in the 1900 block of Montgomery Road the night of May 19.

For suspicion of being under the influence and possession of a controlled substance, a male, 18, was arrested at 6:32 p.m. May 24 at Miramar Drive and Hendrix Avenue.

A known suspect willfully violated a court order by pounding on another person's garage door at 7 a.m. May 24 in the 400 block of Tuolumne Avenue.

Items were stolen between 10:50 and 11:20 p.m. May 23 in the 2500 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A shoplifting incident occurred the evening of May 23 in the 500 block of N. Ventu Park Road.

Merchandise was stolen from a store in the 600 block of W. Hillcrest Drive between 12:30 and 12:40 p.m. May 23.

Graffiti was spray painted by vandals at Redwood Middle School on the night of May 22.

A residential burglary occurred in the first block of W. McAfee Court during daytime on May 22. No signs of forced entry were observed.

Lawn equipment was stolen from a locked storage room in the 300 block of Rolling Oaks Drive between May 18 and 21.

A diner was arrested for defrauding an innkeeper after eating food without the means to pay at 1:15 p.m. May 21 at a restaurant in the first block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A shoplifter tried to steal merchandise from a store in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive at 12:05 p.m. May 21.

Athletic equipment was stolen from Park Oaks Elementary School between May 18 and 21.

At 7:30 p.m. May 18 on Westlake Boulevard at Avenida de Los Arboles, something was thrown at a vehicle, injuring a male, 33.

Someone tried to pry their way into a condo on May 17 or 18 in the 200 block of McAfee Court.

A vehicle in the 2100 block of Marshbrook Court was burglarized the night of May 17.

Personal property was stolen from a bedroom in the 700 block of W. Sandoval Place between March 1 and May 12.

In the 2100 block of Meadowbrook Court on May 17 or 18, a vehicle was burglarized.

Between 12:30 and 4:45 a.m. May 18, a vehicle was burglarized in the 3100 block of Calle Estepa.

An office window had more than $400 damage after vandalism the night of May 17 in the 200 block of Lombard Street.

Spray-painted graffiti defaced a wall in the first block of N. Oak View Lane between May 13 and 17.

A male, 63, was battered by a known suspect at 7 p.m. May 17 in the 900 block of Calle Ruiz.

On May 17, a shoplifting incident occurred in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Graffiti was reported in the 200 block of Erbes Road on May 16.

A garage was targeted with graffiti on May 16 in the 700 block of Warwick Avenue.

For public intoxication, a male, 48, was arrested at 5:35 p.m. May 19 in the first block of E. Hillcrest Drive.

At 5:58 p.m. May 21, a male, 46, was arrested at a store in the 600 block of W. Hillcrest Drive for conspiring with another person to commit burglary and forgery and conspiracy to commit forgery.

At 11:15 a.m. May 23 in the 1900 block of Campbell Avenue, a female, 18, appeared to be on drugs and was arrested. A male, 20, was also arrested.

A male, 34, was cited and released for illegally sleeping in a motor home in a parking lot at 8:30 a.m. May 24 in the 700 block of N. Wendy Drive.

Suspected of drunk driving, a male, 53, was arrested at Janss Marketplace at 7:45 p.m. May 25.

For possession of illegal fireworks, a male, 19, was at 7:40 p.m. May 25 arrested at Calle Pensamiento and Avenida de Las Plantas.

A male, 37, was cited and released for battery in the 2200 block of Los Feliz Drive at 5 a.m. May 26.

At 8:34 p.m. May 26 at Rancho Road and the 101 Freeway, a male, 58, was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.

The following occurred at 9:21 p.m. in the 2800 block of Calle Quebracho: A male, 19, was arrested for possessing an alcoholic beverage in a vehicle; another male, 20, was arrested for felony vandalism (kicking a door) and a third male, 22, was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.

A male, 38, allegedly battered a cohabitant the night of May 26 in the 100 block of Erbes Road.

At 12:33 a.m. May 27 on Moorpark Road and Avenida de Las Flores, a male, 18, was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.

At 2:33 a.m. in the 700 block of Warwick Avenue on May 27, a male, 22 was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.

On N. Ventu Park Road at W. Hillcrest Drive, a male, 41, was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 4:26 a.m. May 27.

A male, 23, was placed under citizen's arrest for battery at 1:30 p.m. May 27 in the 900 block of Jeanette Avenue. A female, 40, was cited for battery.

At 9:55 p.m. May 27 in the 1000 block of Calle Almendro, a male, 34, was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.

At T.O. Boulevard and Rancho Road at 12:35 a.m. May 28, a female, 47, was arrested on suspicion of drug abuse.

A male, 32, was arrested at 7:09 p.m. May 28 on suspicion of drunk driving at Mayfield Street and Mayfield Court.

A purse was stolen from a store in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road between 11:35 a.m. and noon May 24.

Tires were punctured on Hillcrest Drive east of Boardwalk Avenue between May 22 and 25.

Graffiti was spray painted at the Conejo Creek condos May 24 or 25.

Someone tried to open coin boxes on rides, then battered another person at 12:50 a.m. May 25 in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A known suspect punched and pinched a female, 33, at Los Robles and Fairview roads at 11:30 a.m. May 26.

A home was vandalized in the 2800 block of Calle Quebracho on May 26 or 27.

Damages were estimated at $3,000 after a vehicle was vandalized between May 24 and 27 in the 3100 block of Rikkard Street.

A telephone utility box was targeted with graffiti on May 26 or 27 in the 3100 block of Camino Del Zuro.

Two vehicles were burglarized between May 24 and 27 in the 4100 block of Arrowhead Circle.

A vehicle window was smashed the night of May 23 in the first block of Greenmeadow Place.

Two businesses in the 100 block of W. Hillcrest Drive were targeted by burglars or shoplifters on May 29.

Parts were stolen from a tow truck May 23 or 24 in the 2600 block of Lavery Court.

Items were stolen from an unlocked car the night of May 25 in the 4200 block of Silverado Drive.
