Democrats to conduct June meetings

Democratic Party organizations in local areas have planned the following for June:

+The Democratic Club of Conejo Valley will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wed., June 13 at the Newbury Park Library, 2331 Borchard Road, Newbury Park.

At 7 p.m. Emily Gold, field director for state Sen. Sheila Kuehl (D-Santa Monica), will give details of Senate Bill 840, the single payer health initiative.

+The Democratic Women's Council of Conejo Valley will host a brunch from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Sat., June 16 at Boccaccio's Ristorante, 32123 Lindero Canyon Road, on the lake in Westlake Village.

Dr. Rochelle Sechooler will present "The Psychology of Political Persuasion."
