Thank you, Acorn, for helping the Garden and Patio Tour
On behalf of the Westlake Village Garden Club, I wish to thank The Acorn and theThousand Oaks Acorn for all the publicity you gave to our 34th annual Garden and Patio Tour. It was a great help to have three different mentions of the tour: first the news release; second the excellent photograph of the Cohens in their garden by your photographer, Jann Hendry; and finally for the item in your Datebook section. We couldn't have asked for more helpful cooperation.

We're delighted to report that the tour was a success, thus enabling us to continue our tradition of awarding scholarships to students in the fields of horticulture and environmental science.

In June we'll award four $1,000 scholarships to area students. In addition, we will be able to continue our substantial support of the Conejo Valley Botanic Garden.

Thank you so much for helping us to achieve our goals. We will look forward to working with you both again next year when we celebrate our 35th annual Garden Tour.
