Workshop topic: finding money for college

National College Planners will present free workshops on getting money for your child's college education. The program will be offered from 7:15 to 8:30 p.m. Mon., June 4 at the Simi Valley Library, 2969 Tapo Canyon Road, and from 10:45 a.m. to noon Sat., June 9 at the Newbury Park Library, 2331 Borchard Road.

Topics to be discussed include sending students to the school of their dreams without going broke, triple eligibility for aid, finding unknown scholarships and grants, picking colleges that will give the most money and avoiding scholarship scams. Admission is free, but seating is limited.
