Skateboard contest includes tricks, hot dogs

The Conejo Recreation and Park District will present a skateboard contest from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sat., June 2 at the Borchard Community Center, 190 N. Reino Road, Newbury Park.

Spectator admission is free. Registration for competitors is $7.

Divisions include ages 10 and younger, ages 11 to 13, 14 to 17 and 18 and older/sponsored. There will also be two Best Trick competitions.

Free hot dogs will be provided by Living Oaks Church, and there will be giveaways, prizes, music and activities.
