Conejo Valley National Charity League presents 2007 debutantes

Cristina Maria Aggazzotti Cristina Maria Aggazzotti of La Reina High School will attend USC. Her achievements include varsity track and soccer, California Scholarship Federation, St. Michael's College Book Award and Amnesty International. Cristina is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Lawrence Aggazzotti.

The Conejo Valley Chapter of the National Charity League (NCL) introduced its 2007 debutantes at its annuatea, held on Sun., May 20 at Sherwood Country Club.

The tea also recognized the senior Ticktockers, who contributed more than 9,600 collective hours during their six-yeamembership in NCL and presented incoming Ticktockers. National Charity League Inc. is a nonprofit, mother-daughter organization supporting local community agencies and charities. The Conejo Valley Chapter assists more than 20 philanthropic groups in this area. It raises funds through its annual Day of Giving fundraiser and its Thousand Oaks thrifshop, Fibber McGee's Closet, situated at the corner of Moorpark Road and Avenida de Los Arboles.

The money raised is distributed among the philanthropies and is also awarded as college scholarships to worthy young women at local high schools. Working together, mothers and daughters experience the rewards of volunteering their time and energy to help others. Girls typically enter the program as seventhgraders and continue through their 12thgrade year, when they may choose to become a debutante.

Alexandra Madison Arnett Alexandra Madison Arnett of Westlake High School plans to attend San Diego State University. She has been active in SADD Students Against Deadly Decisions) and as an AYSO coach. Alexandra is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Stohl Arnett.

In celebration of their six years of service, the 18 debutantes of 2007 will be presented at the Conejo Valley Chapter's National Charity League Ball in November at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel, Los Angeles.

Her achievements include dean's list, academic all-CIF scholar and captain of the girls' varsity tennis team. Kimberly is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hood Boone. Sarah Elizabeth Clabeaux Sarah Elizabeth Clabeaux of Agoura High will attend UC San Diego. Her achievements include National Honor Society, salutorian, AP scholar with distinction, National Merit Letter of Commendation and varsity volleyball. Sarah is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Michael Clabeaux. Rachael Marie D'Angelo Rachael Marie D'Angelo of Chaminade High School will attend Loyola Marymount University. Her achievements include honor roll, Christian Service Award, ASB historian, school newspaper and SADD (Students Against Deadly Decisions). Rachael is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent D'Angelo. Arpana Bala Dhir Arpana Bala Dhir is graduating from Harvard Westlake. Her achievements include honor roll, AP scholar, captain of field hockey team, leadership award for field hockey, admissions committee and president of the Indian Club. Arpana is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sunil Dhir. Stephanie Brianna Hamilton Stephanie Brianna Hamilton of Oaks Christian School plans to attend Catholic University. Her achievements include honor roll, California Scholarship Federation, class president, debate team, founder of the Young Republicans Club and varsity cheer captain. Stephanie is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Dwayne Hamilton. Jessica Marianne Kaplan Jessica Marianne Kaplan of Westlake High School plans to attend Cal State University, Chico. Her achievements include Warriors for Hope, academic excellence award in math and assisting Brandon's Village for Special Needs Children. Jessica is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Martin Kaplan. Carolin Victoria Kunze Carolin Victoria Kunze will receive an International Baccalaureate from Newbury Park High and will attend Mills College. Her achievements include AP scholar, California Scholarship Federation, editor of the Prowler, tennis and soccer teams and Amnesty International. Carolin is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Juergen Kunze. Stephanie Kristen Kupper Stephanie Kristen Kupper of Agoura High will attend the University of Colorado. Her achievements include California Scholarship FederationPublic Health Symposium winner, National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine and Interscholastic Equestrian Team. Her achievements include JV and varsity volleyball, Volleyball Player of the Year and National Youth Leadership Conference Outstanding Leadership Award. Courtney is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Edward Moran. Kelsey Lynn Niner Kelsey Lynn Niner of Westlake High will attend Baylor University. Her achievements include varsity water polo and volleyball, most inspirational athlete and student government. Kelsey is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ryne Albert Niner. Michelle Faye Schachtel Michelle Faye Schachtel of Westlake High will attend San Diego State University. Her achievements include California Scholarship Federation, dance team captain, associated student government and Miss Teen Westlake. Michelle is the daughter of Mr. Jack Schachtel. Anne Marie Sherman Anne Marie Sherman of Agoura High will attend Cal State Channel Islands. Her achievements include Honor Roll, JV song captain, drama award "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and First Place Crowdleading. Anne is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Sherman. Amanda Marie Smith Amanda Marie Smith of Westlake High will attend San Jose State University. Her achievements include spirit cheer captain, Identity Youth Group, MADD and a mission trip to South Africa. Amanda is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Clarence Smith. Heather Nicole Tsumpes Heather Nicole Tsumpes of Westlake High plans to attend Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. At Westlake High School, Heather participated in marching band and wind ensemble. Heather is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Samuel Giammarrusco. Catherine Diane Wahlgren Catherine Diane Wahlgren of Agoura High School plans to attend Marymount College.
