Apply for basic needs

United Way of Ventura County is accepting applications for Basic Needs funding, one of four focus areas supported by the United Way through its Community Impact direction.

Basic Needs services are services provided to satisfy immediate urgent needs, usually on a short-term basis.

Approximately $180,000 is available. Annual funding amounts will range from $5,000 to $25,000. Selected programs will be funded for three years upon demonstration of success in addressing the stated outcomes.

Applications are due at United Way Ventura County by 5 p.m. Thurs., May 31. The address is 1317 Del Norte, Ste. 100, Camarillo, CA 93010.
