Elks honored

The Thousand Oaks Elks Lodge No. 2477 placed third overall at the California-Hawaii West Central Coast district ritual contest May 5 at the Oxnard Elks Lodge.

Exalted Ruler Catherine Koeriz and Robert Jones, chaplain, placed first; and George Meehan, leading knight, and Liz Bell, inner guard, placed third.
