Meeting tonight seeks input on Lang Ranch park
The Conejo Recreation and Park District staff will host a meeting to get public feedback on a draft environmental impact report for the Lang Ranch Community Park project. It will be held 7 to 9 p.m. tonight, Thurs., May 17, at the Conejo Recreation and Park District headquarters, 403 W. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks. No decisions will be made, but CRPD wants to hear from residents.

Community park facilities would be built on about 52 acres. Due to the geography of the site, the park would be developed on several stepped terraces, two of which already exist.

Small park areas would also be developed along Avenida de Los Arboles and Erbes Road, which would be connected to the main park area by a network of trails.

Eight baseball diamonds, one roller hockey rink, four tennis courts, one grass volleyball court, one sand volleyball court and a hard surface play space would be included.
