Office condo construction continues

Construction is underway on the $17 million Vantage at Westlake office condominiums in Thousand Oaks, according to Westcord Commercial Real Estate Services.

A development of TR Funding of Westlake Village, The Vantage at Westlake is being built on a two-acre site at 2629 Townsgate Road, one block west of Westlake Boulevard and just south of the 101 Freeway.

The concrete slab for the project has already been poured, and walls are expected to be raised within two weeks. Completion is expected later this year.

According to Tony Principe, Westcord president, 22 of the 23 individual units, ranging from 800 to 2,000 square feet, have been sold to a variety of professional service firms, including insurance, real estate, financial services, legal, technology and software businesses.

The Neil Scribner-designed offices have a contemporary motif with extensive use of glass and decorative metal canopies over the entry and window areas.

Southern California Builders of Westlake Village is the general contractor.
