Newbury Park

An underage male was arrested for possession of alcohol while riding in a vehicle at 10:16 p.m. May 1 on Regal Oak Court.

A male, 49, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance at 9:14 p.m. April 28 in the 1200 block of Newbury Road.

A car's windshield and one tire were vandalized in the 3400 block of William at 10:55 p.m. May 1.

A male allegedly battered his mother by putting his knee on her chest and covering her mouth while she was in bed between 5 and 6 a.m. May 1 on Via Petirrojo.

Someone broke through a window and ransacked a jewelry box between 2:50 and 3:30 p.m. April 30 in the 4400 block of Paseo de La Paz. Nothing appeared to have been stolen.

A vehicle window was smashed and items were stolen in the 2800 block of Borchard Road the afternoon of April 29.

A vandalism incident involving a loss in excess of $5,000 was reported between 10:30 and 10:45 p.m. April 27 in the 3300 block of Kimber Drive.

Property belonging to Ventura County was vandalized between Jan. 1 and May 1 on the Jenny Drive flood control bridge.

Several items were stolen from a home the night of April 25 in the 3500 block of W. Baxter Street.

A vandal threw something at a vehicle in the 3900 block of Kimber Drive between 9:30 and 10:20 p.m. April 21.

A female, 37, was arrested at Target for shoplifting at 7 p.m. May 1. An accomplice, a male, 38, was also arrested.

A male, 20, was arrested for suspicion of being under the influence of a stimulant when he was observed committing vandalism at 3 p.m. April 28 in the first block of Jerome Avenue.

A male, 36, (who was on probation) was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a stimulant at 8:10 p.m. April 27 in the 1200 block of Newbury Road. At the same time and location, a female, 34, was also arrested.

A home in the first block of S. Ellis Place was burglarized (no signs of forced entry) on April 25 or 26 in the 1800 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

In the 3400 block of Old Conejo Road, a vehicle window was smashed and items were stolen the night of April 25.

For possession of marijuana within 100 yards of a school, a male, 18, was arrested at 9 a.m. April 26 at Cabrillo Avenue and Santa Barbara Court.

Thousand Oaks

After he failed a field sobriety test, a male was arrestedat 2:21 a.m. April 21 on suspicion of drunk driving at Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Via Merida.

A male, 19, turned himself in at East Valley Station at 1:44 p.m. April 25 for a theft he had committed at Sunset Hills Country Club.

For violating a domestic violence restraining order, a male, 31, was cited and released at 5:45 p.m. April 9 in the first block of N. Moorpark Road.

Known suspects stole merchandise from a business in the 2700 block of Teller Road the evening of May 1. A similar incident occurred on April 30 in the same vicinity.

A vehicle window was smashed and an in-dash stereo stolen between 8:40 and 9:20 a.m. May 1 on La Tienda Road, east of Lakeview Canyon Road.

A male, 22, was arrested after he trespassed and was allegedly preparing to burglarize a home at 9:25 a.m. May 1 in the 200 block of Rosemont Court.

Between 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. April 30, a home was burglarized in the 1900 block of Parkwood Court.

In the 3100 block of Starling Avenue, a home was broken into and burglarized during daytime on April 30.

Between April 26 and 30, a vehicle was broken into and items were stolen in the 700 block of Lakefield.

Between 1:40 and 2:20 p.m. April 30 in the 2500 block of Crown View Court, a home was broken into and burglarized.

The Plexiglas window of a display case was vandalized at Redwood Elementary School between April 27 and 30.

Known suspects used unmetered water at a construction site in the 3400 block of Mountain Breeze on April 26.

A vehicle was maliciously vandalized the night of April 29 in the 800 block of Caya Haya.

During the chili cook-off, a male, 33, "borrowed" a police bicycle on April 29, rode it about 50 yards, abandoned it, and was arrested for grand theft at 4:05 p.m.

A car was "keyed" on the northeast corner of Allessandro and Ramona on April 28 or 29.

A prowling incident was reported at 10 a.m. April 29 in the 1000 block of Calle Pensamiento.

An unlocked vehicle provided easy access for a burglar the evening of April 28 in the 100 block of Via Merida.

On April 28 between 3:10 and 3:16 p.m. in the 1300 block of N. Moorpark Road, two known male assailants (one 33, the other 41) hit a male victim, 27, in the face. When the victim ran, another known suspect, a male, 33, tried to stop him. Two assailants were arrested for battery, the other for assault.

Two shoplifters were arrested at 1:30 p.m. April 28 in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road.

Several vehicles were egged in the 3100 block of W. Sierra Drive between 12:30 and 8 a.m. April 28.

A known suspect used either force or fear to steal food from a 19-year-old male at 12:55 a.m. April 28 in the 200 block of E. Hillcrest Drive.

Valuables were stolen from a dwelling in the 600 block of St. Charles Drive the evening of April 27.

At 7:30 p.m. April 18 at Triangle Street and Columbia Road, someone spat at a male, 39.

Someone was caught trying to shoplift merchandise ($133 worth) at Best Buy the evening of April 27.

Items were stolen from a shed in the 3200 block of Lang Ranch Parkway between April 1 and 26.

A shoplifter was arrested the evening of April 27 in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road.

Known suspects stole property valued at less than $400 in the 1700 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles the afternoon of April 27.

A shoplifting incident occurred around noon April 27 in the 500 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Known subjects used unmetered water at a construction site in the 3400 block of Campus Drive the morning of April 26.

Following a traffic collision and a DUI investigation, a male, 24, was arrested at 7:10 p.m. May 1 on Lombard Street, south of T.O. Boulevard.

A male, 19, was arrested for felony theft at 4:36 p.m. April 30 involving multiple incidents at a discount store. Another male, 21, was also cited at the same time in a citizen's arrest.

For suspicion of drunk driving and for driving on a suspended license, a male, 23, was arrested on Moorpark Road at Brazil Street at 12:55 a.m. April 23.

A male, 20, was arrested for drinking beer at 2:20 p.m. April 29 near Janss Road and the 23 Freeway.

For pouring soda on his exgirlfriend, a male, 25, was arrested for battery and for violating a court order at 11:50 a.m. April 29 in the 600 block of Brossard Drive.

A male, 43, was arrested for prowling at 10 a.m. April 29 near a flood basin west of Avenida de Las Plantas. The incident report also said he looked like he had recently abused drugs.

A male, 21, allegedly became combative with officers after a marijuana arrest at 11:15 p.m. April 28 at Calle Abedul and Avenida de Los Arboles. He was zapped with a taser gun, taken to a hospital, and then transported to the main jail for resisting arrest. A female, 22, who interfered with an officer, was also in possession of marijuana. She was also arrested.

At 11:31 p.m. April 28 at Avenida de Los Arboles and Erbes Road, a male, 25, was cited and released for possession of marijuana.

A male, 39, was arrested for shoplifting at Best Buy at 8:07 p.m. April 27.

For possession of a smoking device and on suspicion of being on drugs, a male, 19, was arrested at 8:40 p.m. April 27 in the 700 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

At 8:30 a.m. April 27 in the 700 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard, a male, 36, was arrested on suspicion of being under the

nfluence of a stimulant.

Property was stolen from a dwelling (no signs of forced entry) on April 25 or 26 in the 1800 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Property was stolen from a home in the 5500 block of Grey Feather Court between 8 and 10 p.m. April 25. No signs of forced entry were noted.

Items were stolen from a locker at a country club in the 4100 block of Erbes Road between April 17 and 23.

A vehicle burglary was reported

n the 1700 block of Fordham Avenue. It occurred the night of April 24.

A male, 24, had marijuana in his vehicle when he was stopped for speeding at 3:04 a.m. April 27 on

he 101 Freeway at Lynn Road.

On April 26, a male prowler, 22, was arrested after an incident in the 4600 block of Pine Valley Place.

For possession of ammunition and a handgun in a vehicle, a male, 51, was arrested at 9:33 a.m. April 26 at T.O. Boulevard and Taylor Court.

For suspicion of drunk driving at Wilbur Road and Laurie Lane at 1:18 a.m. April 26, a female, 24, was arrested.

After he was observed driving erratically at 1:10 a.m. April 23 on the 23 Freeway north of Avenida de Los Arboles, a male, 26, was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

T.O./Westlake

Property was stolen on April 29 or 30 from a vehicle in the 500 block of Hampshire Road.

A male, 39, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a stimulant at 4:30 a.m. April 30 in the 600 block of Hampshire Road.

A male, 39, was arrested for suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance at 11:20 p.m. April 28 at Hampshire and Foothill roads.

A vehicle in the 900 block of S. Westlake Boulevard was broken into and burglarized the afternoon or early evening of April 26.

A known suspect illegally entered a property in the 4600 block of Pine Valley the afternoon of April 26.

A counterfeit $100 bill was passed at a business in the 2600 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard on March 23. The incident was only recently reported.
