Local B'nai B'rith unit celebrates anniversary

Haverim B'nai B'rith of the Conejo Valley will celebrate its 25th anniversary this year and has planned three events to commemorate the occasion.

The Thousand Oaks City Council will present a proclamation acknowledging the anniversary to the president of the unit at 6 p.m. Tues., May 15.

A luncheon will be held at 11 a.m. Sun., May 20 in the grand ballroom of the Renaissance Hotel. At that time Aileen and Bob Feinstein and Rosalind Sorkin will be honored. Entertainment will be provided by "Three for the Show."

Professor Laurie L. Levenson will be the guest speaker at the monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. Mon., May 21 at Temple Adat Elohim, 2420 E. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks. Levenson will speak about current events in the United States.
