Our beloved mother was born on June 1, 1927 in Bainbridge Township, OH. At the age of 19, she moved to the San Fernando Valley in Southern California. She resided in the Valley and in Thousand Oaks for a total of 55 years. Her four children graduated from high schools in Thousand Oaks. She was a Mayflower descendant and a member of the DAR on both her maternal and paternal sides. During the 1960s, she was an active member of the Thousand Oaks Republican Club. She loved flowers, gardening and reading. Rosalyn fought a long battle with cancer and died peacefully under the loving care of the Dominican Sisters at Rosary Hill Home in Hawthorne, N.Y. All who knew her there said she was the "life of the party."

She is survived by her four children Doreen and Fred Falk of San Diego, CA; Linda K. Doughty and her partner Liz Wagner of Sleepy Hollow, NY; Patrick and Ruth Doughty of Scarsdale, NY; and Teri and Jeff Hausey of Anaheim, CA. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, two greatgrandchildren, a sister, sistersin-law and many nieces and nephews who will miss her greatly.

Cremation took place in New York and a Memorial Service will be held in California in the future.
