Magazine supports soldiers

An interactive military history magazine based in Thousand Oaks, Armchair General, is teaming up with Operation Gratitude to send more than 14,000 issues of the publication to soldiers overseas.

Operation Gratitude is a Californiabased nonprofit organization that sends care packages and letters to U.S. servicemen and women deployed in Iraq, Afghanistan, Guantanamo and on military ships at sea.

Armchair General is in its third year of publication and was named among the top 50 magazines by the Chicago Tribune.
