Conejo Players auditioning 'The World Goes Round'

The Conejo Players Theatre will have auditions for a teen production of "The World Goes Round: The Songs of Kander and Ebb" at 7:30 p.m. Sun. through Tues., April 29 to May 1 at 351 S. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks.

Needed are three female and two male singers and five female and four male dancers ages 15 to 20. Singers must be able to read music; moving well is a plus.

Dancers must be strong in jazz, ballet and musical theater, with ability in partner work, lifts, acrobatics and tap being welcome assets.

Singers should bring sheet music in their key; an accompanist is provided. Dance clothes should be worn.

Although this is a teen production, all ages 15 and up are welcome to audition, according to a theater spokesperson.

Appointments are not necessary. There is no pay.

Conflicts with performances or during tech week are not allowed. Performance dates and times are Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m. from June 30 through July 21. There will be one 7 p.m. performance Sun., July 15.
