Orchid Society plans a sale

The Conejo Orchid Society will host its annual show and sale, "Orchid Dreams," at the Newbury Park Library, 2331 Borchard Road.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fri., May 4 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sat., May 5. Admission and parking are free.

A variety of orchids will be sold, including cattleyas, waterfall miltonias from Hawaii, phalanopsis, cymbidiums and others. Potting bard and fertilizer will also be on sale.

Culture talks are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. and 2 and 4 p.m. Saturday.
