All-Star soccer team wins title

WINNING ON KICKS- The Newbury Park girls' U-12 All-Star soccer team finished in first place at the Culver City Sony Pictures Tournament. In the championship game, Newbury Park faced Culver City, a team they had played in the State Cup. The game ended in a 2-2 tie and went to penalty kicks, where the local girls came away victorious.
