Elmo makes music

Sesame Street Live will present "Elmo Makes Music" May 24 through May 27 at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 Thousand Oaks Blvd. Showtimes are 7 p.m. Thurs., May 24; 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Fri., May 25; 10:30 a.m., 2 and 5:30 p.m. Sat., May 26; and 1 and 4:30 p.m. Sun., May 27.

The show features Jenny, a music teacher who arrives on Sesame Street and discovers her instruments are missing. Her new Muppet friends come to the rescue and discover "instruments" they never knew existed- rubber duckies, trash can lids and cookie jars.

Songs performed include "The Hustle," "You Should Be Dancing," "Rockin' Robin," "C is for Cookie" and "The Alphabet Song."

Tickets are $15 and $22, with a limited number of $27 Premium seats and $37 Gold Circle seats. On opening night, all seats are $12. The Friday 10:30 a.m. kid's matinee seats are $10 for school and daycare groups of 10 or more. A facility fee of $3 will be added to all ticket prices.
