War in Iraq topic of library meeting

Dr. Dahlia Wasfi will address "The Human Cost of the Invasion and Occupation of Iraq" from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wed., April 25 at the Grant Brimhall/Thousand Oaks Library, 1401 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.

Wasfi spent her early childhood in Iraq and has visited her family there several times since the 2003 invasion. She'll describe her experiences, the negative impact of the U.S. invasion and the need to end the occupation, according to the event's organizers, Global Exchange Ventura County. The program is free to the public.
