Two males, 18 and 24, were cited and released around 1:15 a.m. March 21 for contributing to the delinquency of a minor in the 1300 block of Newbury Road. Unknown suspects entered a gated garage in the 2700 block of Borchard Road between 5:30 p.m. March 19 and 7 a.m. March 20 and burglarized five vehicles. A male, 20, was arrested for making criminal threats and for possession of methamphetamine pipes at 2:06 p.m. March 18 in the irst block of N. Jerome Avenue. A male, 44, was arrested for stealing merchandise from a Newbury Park supermarket at 2:07 p.m. March 23. The incident occurred in the 500 block of N. Ventu Park Road, but the arrest took place in Thousand Oaks. The suspect was also cited for giving alse information to a police officer. A male, 42, had two warrants or his arrest at 12:07 a.m. March 25 when he was advised that "dumpster diving" (searching for valuables in rubbish cans) is llegal in Thousand Oaks. The ncident occurred in the 1700 block of W. Hillcrest Drive in Newbury Park. Jewelry was stolen from a home in the 500 block of Martinique Place between 3 and 5 p.m. March 17. A female, 18, was cited for possession of alcohol in a vehicle at 11:06 p.m. March 23 at Cindy Drive and Silas Avenue. In the 1200 block of Newbury Road at 5:45 p.m. March 24, a male, 33, and a female, 31, were arrested for being under the nfluence of drugs. At 6:30 p.m. March 26, an Agoura Hills male, 55, was arrested for grand theft regarding an incident on March 25 in the 200 block of Devia Drive. In the 1600 block of Calle Diamonte, a male, 35, was arrested for public drunkenness at 10:20 p.m. March 26. A male, 19, was arrested for possession of lost or stolen property the morning of March 27 at Borchard and Michael. A computer was stolen from a vehicle in the 1900 block of W. Hillcrest Drive between March 16 and 20. A known suspect stole merchandise from a supermarket n the 500 block of N. Ventu Park Road the afternoon of March 22. An unlocked vehicle provided easy access for a burglar on March 22 or 23 in the 400 block of Danville Avenue. A rock-throwing vandal damaged vehicle windows the night of March 23 in the 5200 block of Via Dolores. A room was burglarized in the irst block of Wendy Drive between March 14 and 24. Walnut Grove Park was targeted with graffiti between March 23 and 26. Something was stolen in the 2000 block of Corporate Center Drive between March 22 and 26. An unlocked vehicle was burglarized in the 100 block of Hiram Avenue the night of March 26. A male, 36, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine at 1:02 a.m. March 19 in the 1200 block of Newbury Road. Thousand Oaks At Hillcrest Drive and Wynn Court, a male, 46, was arrested for drunk driving at 12:02 a.m. March 16. A male, 38, was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance at 9:50 a.m. March 15 in the 3100 block of Los Robles Road. A female, 36, was taken into custody at the same time and place for hitting the male subject with a phone and scratching him. Several CDs, a Canon camera, tools and plastic containers were stolen from an unlocked vehicle the night of March 15 in the 3200 block of N. Blue Ridge Court. Somebody stole two 30-packs of beer from a supermarket in the 1700 block of N. Moorpark Road on March 10. The same exact incident occurred the afternoon of March 16, possibly involving the same suspect. A male, 41, pushed his wife to the ground, injuring her head, at 12:37 a.m. March 24 in the 4100 block of Cresthaven Drive. At 12:17 p.m. March 24 in the 2100 block of E. Avenida de Las Flores, a male, 38, was arrested for battering his wife on March 18 and 19 in the 2000 block of Los Feliz Drive. After he refused to obey a police officer, a male suspect hit a male deputy at 8:37 p.m. March 23 in the 400 block of Avenida de Los Arboles. The suspect also was arrested for possession of a switchblade knife. A male, 20, was arrested at East Valley Station at 7:50 p.m. March 27 regarding an incident of penetration with a foreign object that allegedly took place on March 12 in the first block of W. Olsen Road. At 7:12 p.m. March 25 on Lynn Road, south of the 101 Freeway, a male, 28, was arrested for drunk driving. A male, 19, was arrested at 10:13 a.m. March 5 for possession of stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia and for possession of a switchblade knife, which was a violation of his probation. The arrest occurred in the 800 block of Yorkshire Avenue. Three areas of a baseball field in the 1100 block of Hendrix Avenue were damaged by graffiti on March 26 or 27. A sound wall on the 23 Freeway at Erbes Road and Lemonberry Place was damaged by spray-painted graffiti the morning of March 27. Somebody stole property on the curb next to a driveway between 8:53 and 9:53 a.m. March 28 in the 1100 block of Sheffield Place. A male, 33, was arrested for shoplifting in the 1300 block of N. Moorpark Road. The incident occurred at midnight March 20, but the arrest occurred in the 200 block of Conejo School Road at 10:15 a.m. March 25. At 4 a.m. March 22, a male, 33, was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance. The suspect had been detained on a suspicious subject investigation at Avenida de Los Arboles and Calle Haya. During a disturbance at a bar in the 400 block of Avenida de Los Arboles the evening of March 23, a male, 24, ran from deputies before falling on the ground. He refused to comply with deputies who wanted to handcuff him and he was stun gunned. He then tried to pull a knife from his back pocket and he kicked one of the deputies. He was then stun gunned again. The subject was arrested for resisting arrest, delaying a police officer, battery on a police officer and for possession of a switchblade knife. At 1:38 a.m. March 24, a female, 23, was arrested for DUI on the northbound 23 Freeway, north of Hillcrest Drive. Two males, 32 and 21, were cited and released for peddling without a license at Grey Feather and Windy Mountain the evening of March 24. A male, 26 was arrested at East Valley Station at 2:10 a.m. March 25 for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs in the first block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard. A male, 19, was arrested for DUI at 2:45 a.m. March 25 after a report of erratic driving in the 3200 block of Heatherglow Street at 1:58 a.m. A male, 20, was arrested for urinating in public the afternoon of March 25 in the alley behind the 600 block of Avenida del Platino. A male, 43, was arrested for public intoxication at 6:30 p.m. March 26 in the 100 block of N. Moorpark Road. After he rammed another vehicle several times, a male, 23, was arrested for possession of marijuana the evening of March 27 at Avenida de Las Flores and Erbes. Following a stop for speeding, a male, 28, was arrested for DUI at 10:19 p.m. March 27 at Avenida de Las Flores and Erbes. A male, 46, allegedly threatened to kill another male because of the other man's midEastern ethnicity at a business in the first block of E. Hillcrest Drive at 2:55 p.m. March 25. A cellphone was stolen from an unlocked vehicle the night of March 21 in the 1800 block of Country Club Road. Items were stolen from a locked storage container in the 1300 block of E. Janss Road on March 22 or 23. In the 1600 block of El Verano, valuables were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on March 22 or 23. Golf clubs were stolen in the 200 block of S. Moorpark Road between 9:15 and 9:30 a.m. March 23. Vandal(s) spray painted graffiti around noon March 24 on a 23 Freeway sound wall, north of the Avenida de Las Flores overpass. Somebody used a destructive substance to commit vandalism in the 2400 block of Vistawood Circle the afternoon of March 24. In the 3100 block of Foxtail Court, an unlocked vehicle was burglarized between 2 and 3 a.m. March 21. A home in the 900 block of Camino La Maida was burglarized on March 23 or 24. A restaurant was vandalized in the first block of E. Hillcrest Drive the night of March 24. A burglar used open vehicle windows to steal items in the 1800 block of Woodside Drive the night of March 24. A known suspect stole items and vandalized property in the 3900 block of Blackwood Street on March 24 or 25. A wood fence on Vinton Court near Houston Drive was spray painted with gang graffiti at 10 a.m. March 24. A laptop computer was stolen from a student apartment in the first block of W. Olsen Road between 1 a.m. and noon March 25. Cash and coins- $160 worth- were stolen from a business in the 2000 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles between March 24 and 26. Westlake/T.O. A graffiti incident was reported in the first block of Promenade Way the evening of March 21. |
