SEPHARDIC-STYLE SEDER- Carly Shukiar, 6, along with her dad, Temple Adat Elohim Cantor David Shukiar, left, and Rabbi Rebecca Dubowe, tie up a sack of matzo known as
afikoman that will be distributed at the end of the Passover Seder meal. An Ashkenazic Seder would have the
afikoman hidden away for the participants to find, but this Seder was performed in the Sephardic tradition, when the
afikoman is given to all of those attending as a token for good luck in the coming year. Passover began at sundown Mon., April 2.
