Aladdin owner Beck wins award

Carrier Corp., a unit of United Technologies Corp., recently announced that Wayne G. Beck, president of Aladdin Air Conditioning and Heating Inc., has been awarded the Carrier 2007 President's Award, Carrier's highest honor for its dealers.

The annual award recognizes dealers that exemplify quality in customer service and are considered one of Carrier's model factory-authorized dealers when working with consumers.

Aladdin Air Conditioning is one of only 30 companies to receive this award and was chosen from a field of more than 10,000 Carrier dealers.

The award selection criteria included leadership, management, customer intimacy, brand recognition, industry expertise and operational excellence in all areas critical to exceeding the quality, comfort and performance expectations of Carrier customers.

"This year, our President's Award winners have demonstrated impressive abilities at achieving and maintaining customer satisfaction while delivering exceptional customer value and successfully positioning the Carrier brand in their respective markets," said Karie Johnson, manager, programs and promotions, Carrier Residential North America.

"We wanted to acknowledge and recognize these topperforming dealerships because each of them differentiated themselves by combining sound business practices with unique marketing strategies while being Carrier brand ambassadors," said Johnson.

Beck, the owner and president, has worked for 25 years in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning industry. He founded Aladdin in 1999.

Aladdin's response region ranges from Ventura to the West San Fernando Valley and from Malibu to Fillmore and Ojai.

The Aladdin Air Conditioning corporate offices are in Newbury Park.

Recipients were honored at the 39th annual Indoor Air Expo Air Conditioning Contractors of America conference in Orlando, Fla., during Carrier's annual dealers meeting.
