Shoot the messenger for printing bad letters

Two letters written by advocates of creationism appeared in the March 15 Thousand Oaks Acorn.

It was obvious to me that neither writer has any understanding of the "theory" of evolution, but they certainly aren't lacking in faith.

If the paper persists in giving print space to this sort of drivel on a regular basis, I will be compelled to request that you no longer deliver the Thousand Oaks Acorn to my home. Having my intelligence insulted in this manner is becoming quite tiresome.

Faith is for those who have abandoned reason, and religiously based ignorance has a lot to do with the mess America has made of the world today.

The Thousand Oaks Acorn can actually be regarded as just another symptom of our refusal to deal with serious issues.
