+Internet use and basic searching techniques will be demonstrated from 10 to 11:45 a.m. Fri., April 6. The program will introduce basic features and functions of the Internet, with an emphasis on the World Wide Web as an information resource. This class is recommended as a prerequisite to other library Internet classes. Registration is required.
+Internet searching tips and strategies will be presented in a program titled "How do I find it on the web?" from 10 to 11:45 a.m. Tues., April 10. The intermediate level class will cover search engines and subject guides with a focus on researching topics related to health, travel and government information. Registration is required.
+A program concerning e-mail and e-mail services will be offered from 10 to 11:45 a.m. Thurs., April 12. Participants will learn how to set up and manage an email account, as well as Internet etiquette and information about email services that don't require a computer. Registration is required.
+Informative tours of the library will be conducted from 1 to 2:15 p.m. Tues., April 17 and from 5 to 6:15 p.m. Thurs., April 19. Reference librarians will lead the tour and afterwards will give a demonstration of the library's website and online catalog. Registration is required.
