Deadline approaches for CVD Parade entries

The Conejo Valley Days Parade is coming in five weeks. If your group, club or business wants to participate, it's time to submit an application.

The CVD Parade will take place Sat., May 5 along Thousand Oaks Boulevard from Duesenberg Drive to The Lakes Drive. It's organized by the Thousand Oaks Kiwanis Club.

A limited number of parade sponsorships at $350 are still available. Sponsors will have a moving 1-by-6-foot banner in the parade, special mention in a live broadcast that will be replayed multiple times on Time Warner Cable TV and name and contact information included in the CVD Parade program that will be part of the May 1 Thousand Oaks Acorn. Programs will also be distributed the morning of the parade.

Conejo Valley Days is a community event that helps groups and organizations raise money for worthy causes.
