Spring break surf camp comes to Teen Center

The Thousand Oaks Teen Center and Ocean Glass Surf Company will offer a spring break surf camp for teens ages 12 to 16 Monday through Friday, April 9 to 13. Participants will be picked up and dropped off at the teen center.

The fee is $350. Campers will learn ocean safety practices, surfing skills and etiquette, wave and current judgment.

Instructors are trained as ocean lifeguards and certified in CPR and first aid.

Softboards will be provided. Teens should bring lunch, hat, sunscreen and sweat shirt.

There will be a swim test the first day and a certificate of completion on the last day.
