Mixed martial arts center opens in Newbury Park

Sensei Kru Ken Rose has recently opened the Ken Rose Mixed Martial Arts Center at 1200 Lawrence Drive, Unit 430, Newbury Park.

The center offers classes in Muay Thai, grappling, mixed martial arts, conditioning, speed, footwork and sports enhancement.

The facility also has a regulation-size boxing ring for those who wish to train for competitions.

Rose has more than 30 years experience in Muay Thai and mixed martial arts. After playing in the NFL for 12 years, gaining All-Pro honors, he worked as an NFL coach. He has traveled to Thailand to further his Muay Thai training and also studied Russian sambo grappling with former UFC champion Oleg Taktarov.
