A male, 36, was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and a syringe at 7:50 p.m. March 3 in the 1500 block of Newbury Road. The subject was already on probation for drug abuse. A female, 36, was also arrested for the same reasons at the same motel. Three mailboxes were set on fire (a total loss of $780) in the 4200 block of Via Rio on Feb. 18 or 19. A 20-year-old male fled the scene of an accident and was arrested on Reino Road, south of Newbury Park High School, at 8:41 a.m. Feb. 28. A vehicle was broken into in the 100 block of Via Escondido and credit cards were stolen (and fraudulently used to purchase goods valued at more than $400) between 3 p.m. Feb. 28 and 8 a.m. March 1. In the 700 block of Mitchell Road an unlocked vehicle was burglarized between 9 and 10:30 a.m. Feb. 22. In the 1200 block of Newbury Road, a male, 37, was battered and suffered serious injuries the evening of Feb. 27. Property was stolen from a vehicle in the 1600 block of Mendocino Lane on Feb. 26 or 27. A garage was burglarized in the 500 block of Avenida de La Plata the night of Feb. 23. The plate glass window of a business was smashed ($450 loss) in the 1600 block of Newbury Road between 8:45 and 8:58 p.m. Feb. 23. Thousand Oaks A burglary was reported in the 2100 block of El Monte at 3:16 a.m. Feb. 22. A vehicle was burglarized in the 400 bloc of W. Gainsborough sometime before 8:35 a.m. Feb. 22. On the southbound 23 Freeway and Avenida de Las Flores, a vandalism in progress was reported at 4:10 p.m. Feb. 22. At 4:56 p.m. Feb. 22, a vehicle burglary was reported in the 1600 block of Calle Diamonte. Someone made verbal or written threats in the 400 block of E. Hillcrest Drive around 6:15 p.m. Feb. 22. A complaint was lodged about a loud party in the 900 block of Rancho Road at 10:52 p.m. Feb. 22. A male was hit several times in the face by another male at 10:30 p.m. March 2 in the 1200 block of Flintner Drive. A male, 38, was placed under citizen's arrest after he allegedly hit and kicked a victim the afternoon of March 3 in the 700 block of Erbes Road. Vehicle break-ins were reported the night of Feb. 19 at the following locations: 800 block of Valley High Avenue, first block of Atlas, 1700 block of Ide Court, 3000 block of Roundup Circle, 3000 block of Rollings Avenue and the 3300 block of Big Sky Drive. Property was stolen in the 1600 block of Cross Bridge Place between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Feb. 19. No signs of forced entry were observed. An unlocked garage was burglarized between Feb. 17 and 19 in the 3800 block of Via Verde. Between Feb. 15 and 19 a home was burglarized in the 300 block of Jenny Drive. A vehicle was stolen by a known suspect on Feb. 18 in the 1300 block of Calle Bouganvilla. The same vehicle was then used in an assault. A car was "keyed" ($400 damage) between 3 and 10 a.m. Feb. 18 in the 900 block of Harris Court. An intoxicated male who had been arrested on public drunkenness charges at 2:26 p.m. March 2 in the 3100 block of Carlton Drive kicked out the window of a squad car at 10:09 p.m. March 1 in the first block of N. Madrid Avenue. A female, 21, was arrested on shoplifting charges at The Oaks mall the evening of March 1. A male, 20, was arrested on possession of marijuana in the 800 block of Wildwood Avenue at 10:35 p.m. Feb. 28. A male, 24, was arrested after he allegedly challenged a deputy to fight him at 4:27 p.m. 28 in the 100 block of E. Hillcrest Drive. A vehicle was burglarized the night of March 2 in the 400 block of E. Wilbur Road. Money was stolen from a wallet at a business in the 2500 block of Townsgate Road between 11:45 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. March 2. A wallet, cellphone and cellphone charger were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 4000 block of N. Moorpark Road between 8:50 and 9:50 a.m. Feb. 27. Three tires were punctured ($200 loss) in the 300 block of E. Wilbur Road the night of March 1. A business window was smashed ($500 damage) in the 100 block of Brazil Street the evening of March 1. A vehicle was burglarized the night of Feb. 26 in the 3300 block of Silverspur Court. A bicycle was stolen from a truck between 4 and 7 p.m. Feb. 27 in the 600 block of Calle Mirador. A vehicle in the 3000 block of Wild Horse was burglarized the night of Feb. 26. Tools and tool boxes were stolen from a vehicle in the 2000 block of Teller Road between midnight and 3 a.m. Feb. 28. A T.O. male, 18, was arrested in the 2300 block of N. Moorpark Road after allegedly being involved in a fight after school Feb. 26. Property was stolen form construction storage bins in the 1500 block of Windy Mountain Avenue between 5 and 10 p.m. March 6. In the 500 block of W. Hillcrest Drive at 3 p.m. March 5, property was stolen from a business. Copper dolphins were stolen from a fountain at the corner of Plaza and T.O. Boulevard on March 5 or 6. A male suspect who had challenged another person to fight was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs at 8:41 a.m. March 6 in the 300 block of Avenida de Los Arboles. A vehicle burglary occurred the night of March 5 in the 3500 block of Agata Street. The night of March 4 a vehicle was burglarized in the 1800 block of Wilder Street. A car window was vandalized between 6 and 8 p.m. Feb. 27 in the Janss Marketplace parking lot. In the 200 block of Via Colinas, a home was burglarized during the day Feb. 27. The loss was $470 after a known suspect embezzled cash and stole merchandise in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road between Feb. 23 and 27. A male, 52, was socked by of another person the morning of Feb. 27 in the 1000 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles. Skate stops were removed (more than $400 damage) from Colina Middle School between Feb. 23 and 27. A camera and accessories were stolen from a vehicle in the 3100 block of Big Sky Drive the night of Feb. 26. Cash and a iPod were similarly stolen in the same vicinity the same night. Between 8:45 and 9:10 p.m. Feb. 26, $250 cash was stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of N. Moorpark Road. A home was burglarized between Feb. 23 and 25 in the 700 block of St. Charles Drive. Graffiti vandalism on walls and ceilings amounted to$500 damage in the 200 block of Rancho Road between Feb. 23 and 26. Spray painted graffiti was reported during the same time period in the 2400 block of Los Feliz. Property was stolen from a business in the 2200 block of T.O. Boulevard at 3:58 p.m. Feb. 24. A vehicle window was smashed and items were stolen in the 3000 block of Mulberry Circle on Feb. 23 or 24. A similar incident was reported during the same time period in the 500 block of Gainsborough. Three tires were punctured ($210 loss) the night of Feb. 22 in the 300 block of N. Wilbur Road. Golf carts were tampered with the early morning of Feb. 24 in the 200 block of S. Moorpark Road. A vehicle window was smashed by a rock thrown on the northbound 23 Freeway at Avenida de Los Arboles the evening of Feb. 23. Egg damage to a vehicle was more than $400 after vandals struck in the 2400 block of McCrea Road between 6 and 7 p.m. Feb. 23. A suspect was caught after allegedly stealing beer the afternoon of Feb. 23 in the first block of N. Moorpark Road. Westlake/T.O. Tools were stolen in the 3800 block of Automall Drive between 3:45 and 7:30 a.m. Feb. 19. A rock thrown through a business window in the 700 block of Lakefield caused $1,500 damage on March 5 or 6. A home was burglarized in the 700 block of Triunfo Canyon Road between 7:45 and 8:10 a.m. Feb. 26. In the 1500 block of Valecroft, a vehicle was burglarized the night of Feb. 25. Graffiti damage amounted to a loss of $300 at Westlake High School between Feb. 23 and 26. |
