Open Classrooms hold parent info meeting

The Open Classrooms will hold a parent information and orientation meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thurs., March 15 in the multipurpose room at Conejo Elementary School, 280 Conejo School Road, Thousand Oaks.

The meeting will give parents the opportunity to meet with teachers, hear an overview of the program and sign up for a tour of the program on a school day following the meeting.

The Open Classroom Program is a K6 public school option offered by the Conejo Valley Unified School District through "School Choice."

Students are grouped in multiage classes where teachers and parents together create an educational environment to accommodate diverse learning styles.
