Tree falls, but not from rainfall

TREE COMES DOWN- At about 10 a.m. Sunday morning a tall pine tree fell across Bowfield Avenue in Westlake Village. The toppled tree blocked the entire street and soon attracted a crowd. Police and city of Thousand Oaks crew responded quickly and had the entire tree cut up and removed within an hour. The windy weather spoiled what might have been a perfect weekend.
