Thousand Oaks

An Agoura man, 52, was arrested on charges of performing lewd acts with a child, 15. The alleged crime occurred inside a T.O. business on Feb. 18. According to a press release, on Feb. 27, the man went to the 15year-old's place of employment, allegedly with the intent to commit another lewd act. He was arrested after entering the business.

A burglary was reported in the 2100 block of El Monte at 3:16 a.m. Feb. 22.

A vehicle was burglarized in the 400 block of W. Gainsborough Road sometime before 8:35 a.m. Feb. 22.

Vandalism in progress was reported at 4:10 p.m. Feb. 22 on the southbound 23 Freeway and Avenida de Las Flores.

At 4:56 p.m. Feb. 22, a vehicle burglary was reported in the 1600 block of Calle Diamonte.

Someone made verbal or written threats in the 400 block of E. Hillcrest Drive around 6:15 p.m. Feb. 22.

A complaint about a party in the 900 block of Rancho Road was made at 10:52 p.m. Feb. 22.

The Community Oriented Policing and Problem Solving (COPPS) unit and bike patrol visited 14 businesses that sell alcoholic beverages during a sting operation the evening of March 2. Liquor stores, drugstores, convenience stores and a grocery store were shopped. Businesses that declined to sell alcoholic beverages to a minor were to be notified that an underage customer tried to make an illegal purchase and that it was declined. Only one establishment, a store on South Rancho Road, allegedly accommodated an illegal liquor transaction. A 22-year-old Oak Park male was cited on suspicion of selling alcohol to a minor.
