Open Classrooms offers parent tours

The Open Classrooms for the Conejo Valley Unified School District will offer weekly tours of the campus for parents of prospective students Thurs., March 8; Tues., March 13; and Thurs., March 22 at Conejo Elementary School, 280 Conejo School Road, Thousand Oaks.

Parents may observe classes in progress and discuss the program with tour leaders.

The program consists of six teachers and six multiage classrooms, and is available as a school choice option. Parents are required to volunteer an av- erage minimum of 1.5 hours per week per child.

To enroll in the program, parents must submit a completed school choice form, available from the district office at 1400 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks, on or before Mon., April 2. Applications received after the deadline will be placed on a waitlist.
