Teachers travel to Turkey

A teacher workshop on cultural exchange with Turkey will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sat., March 17 in the Nelson Room at California Lutheran University.

The World Affairs Council of America-California Central Coast has been awarded a grant to sponsor four teachers from the area, who will be selected from those attending the workshop, to take part in a cultural exchange and two-week trip to Turkey.

Snacks and lunch will be provided. The workshop is free to qualified educators. Preferential reservations will be given to middle and high school teachers. The workshop is open to the general public and is sponsored by the Turkish Cultural Center.
