Meals on Wheels help feed the homebound

Every weekday, volunteer drivers representing Meals on Wheels deliver hot and cold meals to qualified recipients in the Conejo Valley, Agoura, Oak Park and Westlake Village.

A hot midday meal and a nutritious cold evening meal are delivered from the East Campus or main hospital of Los Robles Medical Center between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. weekdays except for major holidays. Some get meals on weekends as well.

Those who need service from Meals on Wheels may call Debbie Garretson, program coordinator, at (805) 370-4295 and leave a message.

A small fee is charged to the recipients; however, this charge can be adjusted for those on a limited income.
