Learning center offers homework, test help

Two parentfocused, education-related workshops will be offered by the Huntington Learning Center, 2964 Cochran St., Simi Valley. For more information, call (805) 522-5800.

An SAT/ACT exam prep workshop for college-bound high school students and their parents will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Tues., March 6. The workshop will cover comparisons between the two tests, how scores influence college admissions, and strategies to improve scores.

"Homework: a Survival Guide" will be 7 to 8 p.m. Thurs., March 8. This workshop will offer parents advice for dealing with homework and school problems.
