Petsaver class at CRPD

The Conejo Recreation and Park District will offer a Petsaver class from 1 to 5 p.m. Sat., Feb. 24 at Hillcrest Center, 403 W. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks.

Taught by Marion Wagstaff, a certified Pet Tech instructor, the class will include information on rescue breathing, choking management, wellness assessment, heat injuries, poisoning, bleeding protocols, bites and stings, dental care, injury assessment and caring for older pets.

The cost is $35 for in-district patrons, $42 out-of-district. To register, visit www.crpd.org. The class is for owners only; do not bring pets to class.
