Hockey game, silent auction to help autistic boy

Max Warren is a 4yearold boy from Agoura Hills who is in critical need of treatment and therapy for autism.

His mother, Christina, has been diagnosed with inoperable liver cancer and recently had a kidney removed.

She left her job to undergo chemotherapy. The family is facing financial difficulties with Christina's medical needs and Max's special needs.

A Miracle for Max fundraiser with a men's hockey league game will be held at 6:30 p.m. Fri., Feb. 23 at the Easy Street Ice Arena, 131 W. Easy St., Simi Valley.

Special guests include NBA star Samaki Walker and gospel singer Geovanni Garcia.

A silent auction will include such items as Nicolette Sheridan "Desperate Housewives" signed memorabilia, Howie Mandel memorabilia, Bruce Jenner appearance, VIP tickets to The Avengers arena football game, Westlake magazine coverage, tickets to Kings, Lakers and Dodgers games, and an NFL football signed by Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long and coach Jimmy Johnson.

Advanced tickets are $20 per person or $30 per family. Price at the door will be $30 per person or $40 per family.
