Airman Adam Patrick Ely has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, and is now attending technical school at Lackland. Ely is a 2004 graduate of Thousand Oaks High School and the son of Sarah and Dave Ely of Thousand Oaks.

Army Reserve Pvt. Nathan D. Green has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. He's the son of Rick Green of Thousand Oaks.
