Newbury Park students will present an original play

Newbury Park High School will present a student written and directed play, "Melt," 7 p.m. Fri. and Sat., Feb. 9 and 10 in the school's Performing Arts Center.

The cost is $5 for students and $8 for adults.

Student Kenneth A. Baldwin wrote the script, described as "an epic romance with a creative, funny and modern day twist."

The play is about two siblings, Katherine, a senior, and Aaron, a junior, who live with their grandparents. These headstrong personalities eventually clash. As Katherine moves toward graduation and adulthood, her relationship with her family and friends shifts.
