Socialization programs offered at Kids & Co.

Kids & Company Therapeutic Intervention offers the following programs:

Early Therapeutic Intervention is a program designed for preschoolers who may be at risk for social, emotional or behavioral difficulties. With a 3-1 ratio of child to teacher/therapist, the groups provide handson interaction.

Two sessions are available: Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:45 to 11 a.m., and Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 12:15 to 2:30 p.m.

Relationship Building groups are small classes of four to six children focusing on language and communication. Guided by a communication specialist, the children learn to participate in conversation and comprehend what they hear. Classes are being formed now; call for information.

Social Skills classes are led by a licensed child therapist and a special education teacher who help the children understand how to initiate friendships and recognize social cues. Groups meet once per week and will be divided by age and/or skill level during the session.
