Manna extends Gorham's term as director

The board of directors of Manna, the Conejo Valley Food Bank, have voted to extend the contract of interim executive director John "J.P." Gorham through June 30.

Gorham was originally hired for a three-month period on Oct. 31 to guide Manna through its first change of leadership in 23 years, after the departure of administrator Pauline Saterbo.

Manna serves roughly 1,000 clients in-house and 2,000 to 3,000 clients of other agencies each month.

It launched in 1971 to help the families affected by mass layoffs in the aerospace industry.

Manna is at 3020 Crescent Way in Thousand Oaks.
