Camarillo edition of the Acorn opens new office

To better serve their readers and customers, the Acorn newspapers have opened a new Camarillo Acorn office on the corner of Flynn and Adolfo roads in the Flynn Road Business Park.

"We're extremely excited about our new Camarillo location," publisher Jim Rule said. "The new office gives readers a chance to come in and meet with our editorial staff. It's that type of face-to-face interaction with the community that truly makes us your hometown newspaper."

The 1,300-square-foot Camarillo office becomes the Acorn's third location. With its other offices in Agoura Hills and Thousand Oaks, the Acorn newspapers serve readers in both Ventura and Los Angeles counties.

"Our Camarillo office gives us direct access to the community we cover," said Daniel Wolowicz, editor. "We're happy to be part of the growth of this beautiful city. Camarillo's residents have really welcomed us with open arms."

The Camarillo Acorn, a free weekly community newspaper, is delivered every Friday to 25,000 homes and businesses in Camarillo. It is the fifth publication in the Acorn family of newspapers.

The Camarillo Acorn, the Moorpark Acorn and the Simi Valley Acorn are distributed every Friday, while The Acorn and the Thousand Oaks Acorn are distributed on Thursdays.

The total circulation of the Acorn newspapers- including the Camarillo edition- exceeds 135,000.

The Camarillo Acorn is located at 1203 Flynn Road, Ste. 140.
